Ruling on MP Zaake's traffic offense case adjourned to October 14th
The ruling on whether traffic offenses against Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake should be referred to the Constitutional Court has been adjourned to 14th October 2024. Zaake's defense lawyers requested today's hearing at the LDC Magistrate Court. Zaake was arrested on 23rd July 2024 when police and military sealed off the headquarters of the Opposition National Unity Platform, where party members were gathering to celebrate four years since the party was created. Zaake's car was intercepted at the entrance of the party headquarters.
