Sector players demand more funding to conserve wildlife
An action plan for the conservation of wildlife has been launched with conservationists calling for increasing funding to protect the sector which is critical to the economy. Minister for Tourism and wildlife Antiquities Tom Butime says increased funding and investment in wildlife conservation is urgent since tourism is one of the sectors that contributes to the national income.
