Uganda-Rwanda authorities disagree over dead Rwandan nationals
Ugandan and Rwandan authorities at the Katuna border have disagreed over the death of two Rwandan nationals within the area. 47 Year old Paul Bangirana a resident of Gicumbi district in Rwanda was found dead on 2nd of this month at Rugarama village in Buhara sub county Kabale district, while 52 year old Theoneste Dusabimana, also a resident of Gicumbi District was found dead on 30th August . HE was found with deep cuts on the dead, in Rushaki village in Katuna town council. While handing over the bodies to Rwandan authorities at Katuna Boarder post, the Kabale District Chairperson, Nelson Nshangabasheija, reported that police investigations indicated that both Dusabimana and Bangirana died in Rwanda. However, the Gicumbi district Mayor, Felix Ndayabaje refuted Nsangabasheija's explanation stating that these two people died from Uganda.
