Ugandan energy firms set up new re-organization plan
Power companies involved in generation, transmission, and distribution have outlined their strategic plans for the next decade as Uganda moves closer to its Vision 2040 goals. The country aims to generate over 52,000 megawatts of electricity and ensure universal grid connectivity by 2040. However, significant funding gaps remain, which could hinder the realization of these ambitious objectives.
