Abel Chelangat wins Rwenzori marathon title
In athletics, Abel Chelangat won the Men’s Tusker Lite Rwenzori Kasese Marathon, completing the certified 42-kilometer course in 2 hours and 15 minutes in Kasese. Later, Emily Chebet won the women’s race with a time of 2 hours and 42 minutes.
