Makerere University run upgraded to full marathon
The Makerere University run has been upgraded to a full marathon starting this year, following a 1.4 billion shilling boost from NCBA Bank. Also known as the MakRun, the annual event is now expected to attract both local and international elite athletes, aiming to raise funds for environmental conservation and to support the Disabled Students’ Center at the university.
