Joseph Tumwesigye is a Uganda Christian University graduate from the Mass Communication department (now faculty). He has taken part in the DW Akademie Youth Participatory Radio, directed a short movie and done a documentary on stray dogs in Uganda.

He previously worked at fireworks advertising as a Media Space Buyer. He is currently the Digital/Online specialist/journalist at NTV Uganda a subsidiary of Nation Media Group. He is also a writer who contributes news articles and writes for the opinion/commentary section of the NTV Uganda website. Tumwesigye also contributes to the creation of Short online news videos for mobile use.
