Tororo–Gulu railway rehabilitation set for completion by February

The rehabilitation of the 375-kilometre railway line from Tororo to Gulu City will be completed by February next year. The railway line is intended to ease the transportation of goods between Kenya and Uganda, as well as between South Sudan and the DR Congo. UGX 199 billion was earmarked for the work. A technical team from Uganda Railways Corporation, the Ministry of Works, and board members has inspected the project.
