Works Ministry directs police to restrict motorists

The Ministry for Works and Transport has directed District Police Commanders across the country to restrict road users from crossing flooded road sections that are deemed to be dangerous. State Minister for Works Musa Ecweru says reckless decisions of some motorists to cross flooded areas have claimed lives, something he says must stop now. His directive comes at time the country is experiencing heavy rains that have cut roads and destroyed bridges in some parts of the country.
