Planderleith, Pavie claim 2025 Johnnie Walker Uganda Open titles

Joseph Planderleith led to the end of the 2025 Johnnie Walker Uganda Open Seniors Golf Tournament to emerge as the winner in the men’s category, posting a gross of 167 strokes over two days of competition at the Lugazi Hill Golf and Country Resort in Buikwe District. John Muchiri and Tony Kasadha finished second and third with 170 and 172 strokes, respectively. In the women’s category, Jinja Golf Club’s Catherine Pavie claimed the bragging rights with a 192-stroke performance, edging Kety Kabenge into second place by a two-stroke margin. The Johnnie Walker Uganda Open continues next week with the Ladies Open, which tees off on Wednesday, 27th, at Lugazi.
