WAISWA MUFUMBIRO MISSING: NUP party leaders, family members left in the dark

The whereabouts of the National Unity Platform (NUP) deputy spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, remain unknown following his arrest by security operatives outside the Kawempe Magistrates Court. Mufumbiro had attended the court hearing of Edward Ssebuufu, also known as Eddie Mutwe, and Achileo Kivumbi when he was arrested by armed men, according to Nakawa West MP Ronald Balimwezo, who was with him at the time. Party leaders and his family say they have received conflicting information about his whereabouts.
