Bunyoro farmers want fund to access cheaper loans

Farmers in the Bunyoro sub-region want the Central Government to introduce a special fund in Commercial Banks to enable easy access to loans at very low interest rates. John Byaruhanga, a farmer from Buswekera Cell in Hoima City, says as farmers, they don’t have enough capital that allows them to compete with other big companies and some of them have been relying on money under the Parish Development Model program.
