Despite existing laws, women still suffer violence

Government has called for more efforts and collaboration towards scaling access to justice for women highlighting increasing cases of violence in the country.The commissioner Gender and Women Affairs ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development Dr Angella Nakafeero, says that despite the enabling laws and policies in place women and girls still suffer violence of different forms, however, with limited access to justice systems.
