An exhibitor at the NMG–DFCU Rising Women Business Expo, Ronald Kizito, CEO of Inspiring Interiors Uganda, has urged the government to uphold the “Buy Uganda, Build Uganda” policy while encouraging Ugandans to support locally made furniture. Kizito highlighted the company’s world-class mahogany furniture and sustainability efforts, noting that many manufacturers are investing in fast-maturing tree plantations to combat deforestation. He also announced plans for a “Made in Uganda” supermarket, set to open soon, aimed at showcasing and selling locally produced furniture. Kizito has been running the family business for 38 years.
