Banks urged to attract savers
The Bank of Uganda has urged financial institutions to widen their range of investment vehicles in order to encourage more people into saving. Dr. Twinemanzi Tumubweine, the Executive Director, National Payments Systems, says offering attractive and reasonable financial products cultivates a robust saving culture and motivates customers to save. He was speaking during activities to mark the world savings day in Kampala.
