Governance vacuum concerns observers
The general secretary of the Uganda Cooperative Alliance is calling on the government to address irregularities in the governance of cooperatives which have shot up their operational costs. He cites the three different laws and regulators all mandated to govern the cooperative societies. This was during the launch of the needs assessment report for cooperatives which was conducted by the Uganda Cooperative Alliance.
