200 schools to progress to the next round of the 10th edition of the National Schools Championship
200 schools will progress to the next round in the 10th edition of the National Schools Championship, dubbed the 'Battle of Champions.' Mumba Kalifungwa, the Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank, which is supporting the competition, says the National Schools Championship is not merely a contest, but a catalyst for change that unlocks the tremendous potential of Uganda’s youth. Over the past decade, more than 500,000 students from 800 schools have participated in the competition. This year, a prize pool of over 150 million shillings will be shared among the winners. The initiative has led to the establishment of 187 student-led businesses, highlighting the commitment of Stanbic Bank to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit among young people.
