Government warns against unregistered technical institutes
The Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board has raised concerns about the increasing number of technical training institutes that do not meet the minimum quality requirements for TVET standards. This issue has affected the standards of learners entering the job market. The concern was raised ahead of the upcoming assessment exercise for the learners' practical and developmental skills.
