Hoima civil servants protest job re-advertisements
A group of acting civil servants in Hoima District are protesting an external recruitment drive for the very positions they currently hold. They argue they were not consulted and deserve to be confirmed in the roles they’ve been filling. On March 17, 2025, the district advertised over 10 positions, including senior planner, senior procurement officer, district health officer, and district education officer, among others.
