Kawempe North MP files response to Nambi’s petition
Kawempe North MP Elias Luyimbazi Nalukoola has filed a response to the election petition by Faridah Nambi, the NRM candidate who was runner-up in the March 13th by-election. Nambi claims the election was marred by irregularities and wants it nullified. However, Nalukoola argues the petition is baseless and has asked the court to dismiss it with costs.
