Lawmakers eulogise Ssegirinya as selfless leader
Parliament has today formally paid tribute to the fallen MP for Kawempe North Muhammad Ssegirinya, who has been described as selfless in offering services to people, but also fighting for good governance. In the motion moved by Bugweri County MP Abdu Katuntu and supported by the Leader of opposition Joel Ssenyonyi, MPs commended the former MP for legislative roles.
MPs later adopted a motion to contribute UGX300,000/= each to support Ssegirinya's family of eight children, who are now orphans. This was during a sitting to recognize the Ssegirinya's contributions.
