Tension in Masindi as NFA plans eviction of over 1,000 residents
Tension is rising in parts of Masindi Municipality following reports that the National Forestry Authority (NFA) plans to evict over 1,000 residents from their land. The affected residents come from four cells—Kisabau, Mirya, Kikonya, and Kyetegya—in Kigulya Division. The disputed land covers more than 200 acres.
