Besigye urges Ugandans to demand better services, criticizes government for neglecting priorities
Dr. Kizza Besigye, a four-time presidential candidate and former leader of the FDC Party, says as Ugandans mark 62 years of independence, Ugandans must appreciate that the current government deviated from the core post-independence priorities of the nation, urging citizens to demand better services. Besigye insists that the government's failure to provide better health and education to Ugandan citizens is a betrayal to those who fought for the country's independence. Besigye was speaking to journalists in Kampala.
