Buikwe police evicts dozens, demolishing their structures in move to refurbish railway
With plans to refurbish the Uganda Railway network in high gear, the police in Buikwe have demolished the property of encroachers on the railway line, eventually evicting residents from the land. However, the operation led by SSP Titus Byaruhanga, saw locals exchanging bitterly with the police, claiming they were not compensated, and neither were they notified before the demolition.
