Busia youth, women trained in digital skills for economic empowerment
With burgeoning youth unemployment increasing tenfold amidst rising poverty, extra measures are being devised to expose young people to digital skills that can enable them to identify opportunities to sell products in their vicinity online. In Busia District, women, youth, and small-scale business owners have been trained on how best to leverage the digital space to improve their economic status.
