Buvuma Island residents seek support for fuel costs of water ambulance
Buvuma Island residents are appealing for support in powering the recently granted water ambulance, stating that they cannot afford to pay for the fuel needed to operate the boats from the islands to the mainland. While meeting with officials from the UN Global Fund, they are urging the government to find a boat that does not consume as much fuel as this one.
