EALA delegates complete budget with reservations
The Democratic Republic of Congo is yet to pay the 14 million dollars it owes the community as pledged in the Friday sitting of the East African Legislative Assembly. However, the chairperson of the Council of Ministers of East African Community Deng Alor Kuol has quelled fears about intentions by DRC to quit the community. Kuol told a sitting of the concerned members of EALA that DRC leadership had given a strong signal of their commitment to the community against information that they intend to work more with the South African Development Community SADC.
