Finance Ministry launches engagements on 2025-26 budget
The Ministry of Finance will hold a series of stakeholder engagements aimed at demystifying the proposed 71.9 trillion shillings budget for the 2025/26 financial year. The move is intended to raise public awareness and strengthen citizen oversight during its implementation. While addressing the press, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija said the budget places deliberate focus on tackling pressing challenges such as unemployment and improving the overall well-being of Ugandans.
