Five dead in Lake Victoria boat capsizing
Police have confirmed the drowning of five people after a boat they were traveling in capsized on Lake Victoria. Eleven people were rescued by the marine police. The victims and survivors were traveling from Balabala Landing Site in Zinga, Bussi Island, to Nakiwogo Landing Site to sell agricultural produce. Police attribute the accident to the failure of the boat engine.
