PDM coordinator summoned over Shs 5.7 Billion unaccounted funds
The Public Accounts Committee of Parliament has summoned the coordinator of the Parish Development Model (PDM) to explain how 5.7 billion shillings were spent on activities that were never implemented. Officials from the Ministry of Local Government failed to satisfy the committee with their explanations, stating that the responsible individuals had not attended the meeting. The officials appeared before the parliamentary committee to explain the findings of the Auditor General for the financial year 2023/2024. Juma Kirya reports.
