Former She Cranes player Ruth Meeme becomes assistant coach
Former She Cranes midcourter Ruth Meeme was appointed the assistant coach for the team ahead of the Netball Nations Cup due February 1-9 in Nottingham, England. Meeme, who studied her Level One coaching course while still an active player on the Uganda Prisons Club and the She Cranes team, is determined to inspire and motivate the players as well as better herself as a coach. We had a talk with her after one of the team’s training sessions at the indoor arena in Lugogo.
