Government yet to fulfill promise of secondary schools in every sub-county
In 2007, President Museveni promised that the government would establish at least one secondary school in every sub-county. The promise was made after the introduction of the Universal Secondary Education (USE) program. However, the government has yet to fulfill this promise. Several learners still have to walk long distances to attain an education, just like their parents did in previous years. We have a report.
