How pollution of water bodies is frustrating Ministry Of Water
Ministry of Water and Environment says the continuous pollution and depletion of the environment is making their effort to extend clean water services to more parts of the country more difficult. Eng. Chris Tumusiime, a commissioner in the ministry says the purification of polluted water before it's pumped to clients is extremely expensive. He says natural water bodies like lakes and rivers are being polluted by industrial and domestic waste across the country.This was during the 94th African water and sanitation association strategic technical meeting in Kampala.
