KCCA committee meeting fails over membership dispute
A meeting at the Kampala Capital City Authority headquarters, aimed at setting up the KCCA Environment and Natural Resources Committee, has once again flopped after stakeholders failed to reach a consensus on whether Divisional Resident City Commissioners and their deputies should be members of the committee. The controversy stems from the fact that the 2019 NEMA Act did not stipulate their functions.
