Madoi’s 17-year old dreadlocks were cut off in prison
Imagine losing the hair that you have grown for seventeen years. In just minutes, and against your will, it is all chopped off. This is what befell Latif Madoi when he was imprisoned in May. Even though the fashion designer loved his hair so much and sought a court order to keep it, the prison authorities cut his dreadlocks off. He was granted bail on Monday and spoke to NTV's Daniel Kibet about how he has adapted to his new look.
