Mbarara nurse goes missing, police launch investigation
The Assistant Nursing Officer in charge of the Maternal and Child Health Unit at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital has gone missing. Judith Kyarisiima, the National General Secretary for the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union, reportedly disappeared from her home in Katete Central, Mbarara City, around 7:00 a.m. on Monday. Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi Region Police spokesperson, said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding Kyarisiima's disappearance.
