Ministry eyes tech solutions to tackle growing corruption
The Ministry of Ethics and Integrity says it is looking to deploy modern technology to deal with corruption. While meeting with the Inspector General of Government, Beti Kamya, the two agencies called for ways to make it easier for whistleblowers to report cases of corruption so that these cases can be dealt with quickly. They also noted that fraudsters are becoming more sophisticated, moving away from traditional methods of transferring illegal funds.
