Ministry of Health launches surgery option of treating epilepsy
The Ministry of Health has launched epilepsy surgery treatment in the country. Dr. Richard Idro, a consultant pediatric neurologist says the earlier interventions on epilepsy surgery were not sustained. The current program led by Ugandan doctors, aims to achieve seizure freedom for epilepsy patients.
