MPs ask govt to compensate residents as evictions continue
Members of parliament have asked the government to compensate former residents of Lubigi wetland who have been evicted by National Environment Management Authority NEMA which is restoring the parameters of the swamp. Meanwhile, the residents of Nansana Ganda, in Wakiso district condemned NEMA for not touching Stabex fuel station head office and the Lubigi police station which are in the same locality.
