Norwegian Embassy to withdraw services from Uganda after 29 years
The Norwegian Embassy in Uganda is set to withdraw its services come July 2024. This comes after 29 years in which the Norwegian embassy has fully provided its aid and services to different sectors of the country ranging from health, Education and to supporting different projects through government and civil society organizations. The Funds that have been provided to all Norwegian missions whose services have been withdrawn will be used in development back home.
The decision to withdraw services from Uganda was resolved earlier this month by the Norwegian Cabinet.
