One dead as police and UNRA continue rescue mission after Pakwach floods
Police in the West Nile region have confirmed the plunging of a taxi belonging to Elite company into the River Nile along the Olwinyi-Pakwach road following floods that cut off the road. 42-year-old Hassan Yahaya, an officer from the Uganda Roads Authority, has been confirmed dead. Police have urged the public to consider using alternative routes as the road has been cut off.
