Remanded women activists decline to appear in court
A group of five women affiliated with the Forum for Democratic Change - Katonga faction missed their court appearance today at Buganda Road, citing a lack of clothes to wear. The women were remanded to Luzira Women's Prison last week on charges of causing a public nuisance after being arrested while protesting the continued detention of Dr. Kizza Besigye.
