State House seeks UGX 3 Billion for salaries, UGX 10 Billion for new vehicles
The Office of the President and State House are requesting 3 billion shillings to cover salaries and gratuities for employees attached to different units created by the president. Officials, appearing before the Parliamentary Committee on Presidential Affairs, noted their inability to facilitate staff. Additionally, 10 billion shillings are needed for a new vehicle fleet for the President, as the current vehicles are outdated and pose safety risks.
