Uganda Muslim Teachers Association inspects maize flour for aflatoxins
Following President Museveni’s recent speech on the alarming levels of aflatoxins in grains like groundnuts and maize, the Uganda Muslim Teachers Association has taken proactive steps to ensure the safety of food supplied to their schools in preparation for the first term opening. The Uganda Muslim Teachers Association inspected maize flour quality to confirm its suitability for student consumption and to ensure it is free from aflatoxins. The assessment took place at Mandela Millers in Busega, a key supplier for many Muslim schools.
