UGX 33 billion loan portfolio for refugees and host communities
A portfolio of over 33 billion shillings has been made available to refugees and host communities to borrow from at a lower interest rate compared to what the market is offering. The partnership between U.S. government agencies and Opportunity Bank Uganda aims to increase lending to refugees and host communities engaged in business.
