UIBFS pushes for professional recognition through proposed bill
The Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services (UIBFS) is working to become a fully recognized professional body through a proposed bill currently in development.
Backed by the Bank of Uganda, the bill seeks to establish UIBFS under an Act of Parliament—similar to how accountants, engineers, and doctors are regulated—with a formal code of ethics and professional standards.
