Standoff in Muyenga tank Hill over access road demarcation
Locals in Muyenga Tank Hill in Kampala have taken a standoff with KCCA officials in demarcating an access road that leads to many homesteads in the area. According to locals, an investor in the area is using KCCA to protect and expand his land at the expense of locals.
Several homesteads will remain inaccessible if KCCA's proposed diversional access plan is implemented.
This comes as KCCA, through the Makindye Town Clerk, delivered a diversional notice to the locals in the area.
