Uganda Olympic Committee welcomes Kirsty Coventry as IOC's First Female President
The Uganda Olympic Committee has welcomed the election of Zimbabwe's Sports Minister Kirsty Coventry as the first female president of the International Olympic Committee. The 41-year-old, who is also the sports minister, is an accomplished swimmer who won 3 medals at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
