Youths advised to shun violence during elections

As Uganda prepares for the highly anticipated 2026 General Elections, the army has issued a strong warning to the youths in Bunyoro, urging them to shun violence and resist manipulation by political opportunists.
Calling for peaceful, transparent, and credible elections, the army has encouraged the youth to instead engage through civic education, community leadership, and positive participation in the democratic process.
