EC commences nominations for mayors, councillors

The Electoral Commission has commenced the nomination exercise for Kampala’s division mayors and councillors for various electoral areas in the capital city. The exercise is ongoing at the election offices in all five divisions of Kampala. Candidates who were successfully nominated on Monday told NTV they are seeking the mandate of the electorate to improve service delivery, especially in health, education, and the creation of employment opportunities in their respective areas.
